A mentor can watch your practice the way you watch it — a live, read-only view you control, scoped to exactly what you choose to show.
Most of Praxis is a private conversation with yourself. Sharing is the one place you let another person in: a coach, a funded-account evaluator, a trader further down the road than you. You give them a link to your Progress — a read-only page that updates as you log — and they can follow your discipline over time without ever touching your account or your data.
You choose what they see. You can take it back at any time. Your P&L is never the point, and the private confessional is never shared.
What sharing is, and is not
Sharing is read-only. A mentor can see the facets you grant and nothing else. They cannot log trades for you, edit your playbook, change a setting, or see anyone else's practice. There is no chat, no co-editing, no account access.
Two things are never shareable, by design. Your profit and loss is never turned into a score for anyone — not for you, not for a mentor; it stays context. And the raw confessional — what you felt, the repair work, the private notes — has no path to a shared surface at all. What a mentor can see is your conduct: whether you traded the way you committed to.
Sharing your Progress
Open Settings → Mentors. Create a share link, choose its scope, and send it to your mentor. The link stays live: as long as it's active, your mentor sees your latest Progress whenever they open it.
- Choose the scope. Standing is always shared — your discipline score, recent form, streaks, conduct, and rule adherence. On top of that you can add reflections (share-safe fields only — what you did well, the lesson, a strength you expressed), results (the positioning and process-against-outcome views), and risk (the risk envelope). Grant only what you want seen.
- Send the link. If your mentor has no Praxis account, the link opens a standalone public page — they can read your Progress and, if they like, sign up to manage a whole roster. If they do have an account, the same share appears in their Students list in-app.
- Revoke whenever you like. Revoking a link stops the access immediately and takes any feedback tied to it with it. Sharing is always yours to end.
What your mentor sees
Your Progress reads as one page, in this order: your discipline score and tier, recent form, the wait / clean / ritual streaks, a strip of recent conduct verdicts, rule adherence across the last thirty sessions, and a twenty-six-week heatmap of the days you logged. Below that sit only the facets you granted — reflections, the results quadrants, the risk envelope. If you haven't shared a facet, it simply isn't there.
Being a mentor
If someone shares their Progress with you and you have a Praxis account, a Students group appears in your navigation. It holds everyone who has shared with you, each showing where they stand at a glance. Open one to read their full Progress.
- Summary — an opt-in weekly digest, one email each Sunday that rolls up how your students are doing, so you don't have to check each one by hand. Turn it on in your settings.
- Alerts — a heads-up when a student breaks a clean streak or takes a bad loss. Alerts are double-consent: they fire only when you opt in and the student has permitted alerts on their link. Neither side alone turns them on.
- Feedback — a note you leave on a student's Progress. Keep it to what you're seeing: what to hold, what to watch.
Feedback, from both sides
When a mentor leaves feedback, it reaches the student on their own Feedback page — newest first, with an unread mark until they open it, the same quiet signal as the weekly letter. If the student has left the email nudge on (it's on by default), they also get a short email that a note is waiting. It's one direction, low-frequency, and always solicited: a mentor can only leave feedback on a practice that was shared with them.
Privacy & control, in one place
Every cross-person view in Praxis passes through a single check — a mentor can only ever see a practice that is actively shared with them, and only the facets granted. Revoke a link and the access is gone the same instant. You are never sharing by default, never sharing your P&L as a verdict, and never sharing the private confessional. Sharing widens only as far as you decide, and no further.
